On the occasion of the Beethoven anniversary, the Cologne Opera, the Duisburg Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by Cecilia Castagneto and the choreographer Emanuele Soavi with his ensemble incompany, consisting of 12 dancers and the electronic composers Wolfgang Voigt and Stefan Bohne, continue their unusual artistic collaboration with the project FLUT. Starting from Beethoven’s 7th symphony via his string quartet no. 8 to a new electronic composition, a field of tension between the opposites of collective and individuality, instinct and functionality, utopia and reality emerges in the interplay with contemporary dance.
